Call for tenders: Revision of Regional Waste Management Plans

SALAR International l and Avfall Sverige procures services for invites your company/organisation to tender for providing services for “REVISION OF REGIONAL WASTE MANAGEMENT PLANS” within the Programme “WM4U – Waste Management for Ukraine (2025–2027)”, financed by Sida.

The Programme will support selected pilots, at both local and regional level, on planning of the whole value chain of municipal waste management. The regional pilots aim to develop and showcase a comprehensive Regional Waste Management Plan (RWMP) that connects regional strategies with local efforts. This initiative will review and potentially revise regional plans in the four inter-municipal pilot areas to ensure that these align with localised efforts.

The purpose of this procurement is to contract a Consultant who can contribute to the goals of the WM4U Programme, particularly its component on revisioning Regional Waste Management Plans (the assignment).

The assignment is expected to start in June 2025 and will include close cooperation with the Regional Military Administrations. As the revised RWMPs will need to be endorsed by the national government by the end of 2025, the assignment is expected to be completed latest by November 2025.
